NBA February 10th Starting Five

The NBA season in full swing and we have another great slate tonight! We have such an exciting season up ahead and plenty of opportunities to win some money! There are four key things I look for in a player to have the highest probability of being optimal!
1. Price
2. Opponent DvP
3. Recent Minutes/Rotation Time
4. Usage Rate
These four statistics paired together are the best suitors to find a gem. Almost everyone I mention below hits on atleast 2 of these if not all of them! Hopefully this will help you be more successful while building lineups and give you a higher chance of winning the big bucks!
I would also like to note that I write these articles early in the day. It is always beneficial to check @FantasyLabsNBA for lineup changes. Those changes could have a direct effect on some of my "favorite plays" in the sense that if a cheap guy that was one of my favorites doesn't start, then they might no longer be a favorite play or even a play at all. Check out my Twitter @HeatingUpDFS for any updates on favorite play changes!

PG: Devin Booker ($8,900)

Booker is coming in as one of my highest values on the slate. This game against MIL should be incredibly high scoring and with Paul being defended by Jrue, Booker will have a much easier matchup. His price is low given his recent production of 48 and 54 DK points so you are getting him at a bit of a discount. The best explanation I can really give is that you will want a piece of this game and factoring everything in, Booker stands out as the best option here. He checks all the boxes today.
High: Luka Doncic ($12,400)
Mid: Kevin Porter Jr. ($6,000) or Patty Mills ($5,000)
Low: Aaron Holiday ($3,700)

SG: Gary Trent Jr. ($6,500)

With how poorly Houston plays on defense, I really don't see any way the Raps don't score 110+. They have an implied total of 117.25 right now and I think Trent will be a major reason behind that level of scoring. He has 30+ DK points in 7 of the last 9 games with a floor of 25, so he isn't going to likely fail you. His matchup against Jalen Green is about as easy as it gets given his bottom 5 SG DRPM this season. I think the Rockets can defend the likes of OG and Barnes well enough that Trent can get a slight usage bump which puts him in a spot to have a ceiling game. The SG position isn't really that great tonight, so going with Trent gives you a solid floor with a decent ceiling and that is about all you can ask for.
High: Kyrie Irving ($10,400)
Mid: Evan Fournier ($5,900)
Low: Corey Kispert ($3,000) and Frank Jackson ($3,400)

SF: Saddiq Bey ($6,400)

This is the ultimate GPP play that I think has a really good chance of paying off. Memphis runs at a very fast paced and have been involved in 6 straight games with a scoring total over 228 points. I highly doubt Cunningham plays tonight so Bey in all likelihood is going be one of the top options. He played horribly last game, but the whole team did as well and I can't imagine that performance is repeated tonight. Prior to that game he had posted 43, 54 and 33 DK points. With the pace and implied role tonight, I think Bey can get back to that type of output and do so at a very low ownership as well. This is quite risky because we could easily see a Jerami Grant game, but I am still leaning towards Bey in a big way tonight.
High: Jimmy Butler ($9,300)
Mid: Mikal Bridges ($6,100)
Low: Garrison Mathews ($4,300) and Ziaire Williams ($3,300)

PF: Jae Crowder ($4,400)

We are finally get back to Crowder getting a ton of peripherals and is still fairly priced in a high implied scoring game so I am going right back to the well. There are a lot of PF options that even I like (below), so there is an off chance we get Crowder at a decent ownership. I think he is great leverage off of Griffin and Sengun who are in much worse game environments so I am all for taking my chances here. He doesn't have the highest offensive usage, but he does so much in other aspects of the game that produce big time DK points that I can't see him failing here. He only needs 22 DK points and he has done that in 3 of the last 4 games. Similar with Bey, this comes with some risk, but I really like his ceiling in this spot tonight.
High: Giannis Antetokounmpo ($12,000)
Mid: Jaren Jackson Jr. ($7,300)
Low: Alperen Sengun ($4,800) or Rui Hachimura ($3,400)

C: Pascal Siakam ($9,800)

Siakam has scored 50+ DK points in 4 straight games and has the easiest matchup on the slate if we are being quite honest. Houston is dog awful against bigs and the way Toronto plays their starting rotation almost 35-40 minutes every game, Siakam will get every opportunity to take advantage of them. There really isn't much to say; Siakam's stats as of late speak for themselves. He's hot and the Rockets are not against C's so roll out Siakam with confidence.
High: N/A
Mid: Bobby Portis ($6,800), Steven Adams ($5,300) or Isaiah Stewart ($5,400)
Low: Javale McGee ($4,200)
Thanks for reading, best of luck, and I hope you enjoy the holidays!
